Full-tuition refunds are given to students that notify us of cancellation in writing at least two days before a course starts.
Withdrawals and Tuition Credit
Once a course starts tuition fees are refundable with a $50 administrative fee only if a written request is made before the second class. Once the course starts there are no refunds on books.
Cancellations must be received by the Spanish Institute before the deadline and should be made by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Students who withdraw from a course may request a non-transferable tuition credit for the remaining classes of the course from which they withdraw. In order to obtain tuition credit the student should provide written notice on or before the date of the withdrawal. The notice should be made by email to email@example.com. There will be no tuition credit for missed classes. The tuition credit will not be for the full course, but for the remaining classes of the course at the withdrawal date, as per the written notice delivered to the Spanish Institute.
Although every effort is made to adhere to the schedule, the Spanish Institute reserves the right to cancel a course at any time. Students who have paid a course that is canceled will have the option to transfer, receive a credit or receive a full refund.
Spanish Institute reserves the right to modify curriculum as necessary or change teachers at any time according to availability.
Students who miss a class have the option to attend a regular class in other available courses of the same level. If there are no courses of the same level available the student missing a class can request that their instructor email the assignments for the following class; or can arrange an individual lesson for $45 per hour.
Certificates & Grades
Certificates of Proficiency
Certificates of Completion will be issued to students who request documentation of successfully having completed a course. The certificate of completion must be requested at the end of the course.
Students who need a grade in the Certificate of Completion should inform the instructor at the beginning of the course.
Private Classes, Change of Class Date
If a student of a private class is not able to attend a class he/she needs to notify the Spanish Institute by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org, or by phone at 952 933 9940 at least 24 hours prior to the class, otherwise the session will be charged.
